Lorum is a classic European trick-taking card game with many regional and family variations. Now you can play it online with friends.
What is Lorum?
Lorum is a compendium card game for four players: a match is a sequence of short contracts, not a single fixed deal.
In most rounds you avoid penalty cards and dangerous tricks. In others the aim flips, and you suddenly want the cards you were dodging.
Families and regions keep their own lists, scoring, and house rules. The online game is built to accommodate that, rather than freeze one “official” version.

Not everyone plays Lorum the same way.
That is not a problem to paper over. It is how the game has always been taught.
Some tables change the rounds, the scoring, or a single special rule. Others switch between German-suited William Tell cards and French faces.
The goal is not to decide the “correct” Lorum. The goal is to make it possible to play Lorum the way you know it.

Lorum — also written Lórum — is an old Central European compendium game, recorded in Hungary by the early twentieth century and still played today. Related tables use names such as Lóra, Filky, and Lora. The contracts differ from family to family; the idea of a changing list of mini-games does not.
